Implementation Lead, Living Well with Dementia

Kath is a nurse by background, and has worked in the NHS in London and Sussex for over 20 years, leading teams and services in Cancer/Haematology and Clinical Research. She also holds a Master in Clinical Research, and has undertaken her own mixed method research. Across the system Kath has worked in Quality and Patient Safety in Commissioning including Mental Health and Dementia services, and supporting spread and adoption of innovation as Tech Navigator at Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex.

Kath is delighted to be part of the implementation team of the ARC KSS, working with all stakeholders across Kent, Surrey and Sussex as well as nationally, and ensuring that user needs and their voice are integral to the research we do as an ARC and the solutions we seek to implement.

Becky Sharp

Becky Sharp

Implementation Lead, Social Care

Becky has a long background in programme management and senior operational management within the public, private and third sector and is PRINCE2 qualified. Prior to this role, she was leading the implementation of the Transfer of Care Around Medicines (TCAM) programme across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Becky is passionate about collaboration and integration, and is looking forward to bringing partners and stakeholders together in order to build research capacity in social care that is focused on improving services for our local population.

Sam Fraser

Sam Fraser

Implementation Lead, Primary and Community Care

Sam is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Darzi Fellow, and her particular areas of expertise are the development and delivery of innovative evidence based interventions for mental health disorders, project management within the public and private sector and service redesign work. As a clinician and researcher, Sam has directly contributed to improving patient care; as a Darzi Fellow, she has come to appreciate how to operate effectively in the wider system, engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and jointly evoke system change.

Becca Randell

Becca Randell

Implementation Lead, Starting Well

Becca is also leading on two national programmes for Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex – early intervention eating disorders and ADHD. She has over twenty years’ experience of commissioning children’s services. Becca has recently worked as Children and Families’ Strategic Commissioning Lead for West Sussex, previously the Children’s Mental Health Commissioner on behalf of the CCGs and West Sussex County Council and was Regional Manager for Children’s Services for Government Office for the South East overseeing Sure Start and Children’s Fund. She has also worked in regeneration through community development and neighbourhood renewal programmes, and is as passionate about collaboration and integration, whilst improving the outcomes for children and young people through system-wide transformation and evidence-based research. Becca has recently represented UK on the European Social Network Advisory Group on co-production, speaking at international conferences and has also been a member of the national BEAT Eating Disorders Clinical Advisory Group.
