Working with People and Communities At Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex we tackle real-life health and care challenges by creating and testing new ideas. We build, invent, and grow solutions that can shape a better future for everyone. Our people and communities across Kent, Surrey and Sussex are at the heart of research and innovation; we want to hear from and involve as many people as possible to improve lives, treat illnesses better, and make sure everyone gets the best care possible. It’s our mission to work in partnership with patients, the public, carers, workforce and communities – particularly individuals who are marginalised – as we seek to bring in diverse perspectives and listen to the experiences and insights of people at the heart of everything we do. We want to reduce health inequalities and make sure everyone can benefit from innovation. Working with People and Communities team Our Working with People and Communities team, led by Isabel Clark – Strategic Community Partnerships and Insight Lead, supports local health and care systems, innovators, research institutions, and industry partners to meaningfully involve our local populations in research and innovation to ensure they are truly people-driven.
