How we can help We have a decade of experience in supporting needs articulation and development, testing and roll-out of innovations. We work in close collaboration with our local NHS integrated care systems (ICSs) and individual NHS and social care organisations. We’re constantly working with clinicians and health and care organisations to identify challenges that could be addressed through innovation. This can lead to breakthroughs enabling earlier diagnosis, more effective treatments, better outcomes and faster recovery times. Get in touch Our work 1/10. Mental health & neurodiversity Health Innovation KSS is working with other organisations and those with lived experience to support the spread and adoption of innovation in mental health. 2/10. Medicine optimisation & safety At Health Innovation KSS, we’re working to support healthcare professionals to identify patients at risk and encourage better conversations around medicines. 3/10. Patient safety The national patient safety improvement programme aims to test and spread effective safety interventions and strategies, learn from excellence and support systems to continuously improve. 4/10. Cardiovascular disease At Health Innovation KSS, our cardiovascular disease prevention programme is planned and delivered collaboratively with partners across Kent, Surrey & Sussex. 5/10. Primary, community & social care At Health Innovation KSS, we work with our local integrated care systems (ICSs), GP practices and primary care networks (PCNs) to understand their priority needs and how we can help to meet these needs. 6/10. Net Zero At Health Innovation KSS, we are working across the system, with innovators, our local integrated care systems (ICSs) and within our own organisation to support the NHS’s approach to climate change and reaching net zero by 2045. 7/10. Ageing well At Health Innovation KSS, we work closely with our integrated care systems and research partners to support our population and health and care system challenges. 8/10. Health inequalities At Health Innovation KSS, we are committing to ensuring socially excluded groups have a voice and to promoting equity, amplifying diverse voices, and tailoring innovations to meet the needs of populations affected by certain health issues. 9/10. Digital, Data & AI Through partnerships and collaboration with other organisations, Health Innovation KSS is working to enable the development of digital, data & AI innovations, from idea conception through to real world adoption and spread. 10/10.
