Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) is launching a new series of webinars to help innovators navigate the complex journey of developing their innovations and achieving the successful spread and adoption of them by health and social care organisations.

The series is structured around three key themes – Research & Development (R&D), Strategic priorities, and Commercial insights – each offering targeted insights and practical guidance from experienced leaders across the health and care system.

Whether you’re a start-up, academic, clinical entrepreneur, or part of a small or medium-sized enterprise, these webinars are tailored to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in the health and care innovation landscape.

• 23 October 2025 – Health equity in innovation. Understand how to embed health equity into your innovation from concept to scale.
• 12 November 2025 – Why digital inclusion is vital for health and social care Innovators. Explore the challenges of digital exclusion and how to design inclusive digital health solutions.

Commercial insights – Navigate the business landscape

• (TBC) December 2025 – Innovate, Navigate, Integrate: Mastering NHS Procurement. Gain insights into NHS procurement processes and how to position your innovation for adoption.
• 22 January 2026 – Importance of commercialisation of IP. Learn how to protect and commercialise intellectual property in health innovation.
• 19 February 2026 – Commercial and business planning
• 18 March 2026 – Successful grant writing and bid opportunities. Insights into different funding opportunities, steps to take when preparing a funding proposal and tips and techniques to maximise producing a winning bid.
