Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) has released its 2024-26 Business Plan, setting out a refreshed vision and strategic priorities for the coming years. This comprehensive plan aims to leverage innovation in health and social care to foster healthier lives, a stronger economy, and a safer future across Kent and Medway, Surrey, and Sussex.

Professor Hatim Abdulhussein, CEO at Health Innovation KSS, emphasised the plan’s significance: “Our 2024-26 Business Plan represents a strategic roadmap to addressing both local and national healthcare challenges. This plan outlines our commitment to pushing boundaries, fostering groundbreaking innovations, and creating a healthier, more equitable future for everyone in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. It’s an exciting time, and we’re ready to turn this ambitious vision into reality.”

The plan reaffirms Health Innovation KSS’s commitment to collaborating closely with local systems, innovators, and broader stakeholders to discover, test, and implement innovative solutions that improve health and social care in the region. A core focus remains on reducing health inequities and co-designing solutions with our local population.

The organisation aims to expand its collaborative network, working with a wider range of stakeholders to address emerging focus areas such as digital, data and AI, women’s health, and population health, among others.

This strategy builds upon the deep and meaningful relationships Health Innovation KSS has cultivated with its partners, aiming to improve outcomes and progress towards its vision. You can read the full Business Plan here.
